Ana Julaton going back to boxing after ONE FC fight

Ana “The Hurricane” Julaton will be climbing inside the cage once more on December 5 for ONE FC: Warrior’s Way but after her third straight fight for the Asian mixed martial arts organization, she will go back to being a boxer.

After debuting last May with a technical knockout win over Aya Saeld Saber at ONE FC: Rise of Heroes, Julaton took on the toughest challenge out there in Malaysia’s Ann Osman.

Julaton lost via split decision to the more experienced MMA fighter but this convinced her to train with wrestling coach Ricky Lundell to further hone her skills inside the cage.

While she hopes to put these newly learned skills to good use in her upcoming match, her MMA training will be put on hold right after so she can concentrate on her boxing return.

Julaton cleared that she’s not looking past Egypt’s Walaa Abas but the fighter confirmed that she is in talks with Top Rank Promotions boss Bob Arum for a boxing match in Macau this coming March.

lthough no opponent has been named for Julaton, she said that Top Rank is looking at champions from Japan or Thailand to fighter her. The Hurricane last fought in a boxing match back in November of 2013 where she scored a majority decision victory over Perla Hernandez in Mexico.
